Dear Parents and Guardians,
We’re so glad to be back together after the summer break! We kicked off the new season with a lovely Back to School BBQ and a wonderful first Sunday of learning.
In this newsletter, you'll find an overview of what was covered in Sunday School this past Sunday, along with important announcements about upcoming events. We've also included a take-home flyer with ideas and discussion prompts to help you explore this week’s Bible discoveries together as a family.
Special announcement:
One of our parents has shared a great opportunity for children to enjoy football and connect with kids from other churches. All the details are on the attached flyer, including a QR code for registration. Please note that this event is not organized by APCH; for any questions, kindly reach out directly to the event coordinator using the email listed on the flyer or in the English translation below.
Kerken Cup for Kids 2025: They are inviting children ages 8–12 to the first-ever Kerken Cup for Kids!
Date: Saturday, September 20, 2025
Time: 5:30 PM (games from 6:00–6:45 PM)
Location: Sporthal de Schilp, RijswijkContribution: €2.50 per child
Children will enjoy an evening of indoor football fun. Teams will be formed on the spot, and matches will be played during the event. The kids’ tournament will also serve as the opening program for the adult Kerken Cup later that evening. After their games, children are welcome to stay and cheer on their parents and other teams.
