Sunday Worship Service - June 22, 2025

The month of June will feature a sermon series on the topic of “Relationships.” Each week we will highlight a different relationship that we have in our lives: 1.⁠ ⁠Our relationship with God, 2. With ourselves, 3.⁠ ⁠With our neighbours, and 4. With our family

What does the Bible teach us about all of these relationships? One thing is for sure: they are all characterized by love. This coming Sunday, we will reflect on how what it means to love our neighbors.

In the Parable of the Good Samaritan, Jesus' seemingly simple answer to the question "who is my neighbor?," radically reframes the entire issue. Not only does the hated Samaritan become included in the category "neighbor," but "neighbor" is redefined as the one who shows rather than receives compassion and mercy.
