Sunday Worship Service - May 14, 2023

Today we will hear the comforting word of the Lord as He calls His people to Himself. Like a mother, God cannot forget or let go of His children. The gospel further invites us to hear the words of Jesus: "Do not cry" at the place where mothers experience loss. Jesus takes a prophetic initiative, like Elijah (1 Kings 17), and restores what has been lost. This resurrection story leads us to praise and worship the Lord, who cares for those who have and are lost.
