Paul encourages the churches in Galatia not to relapse into the Law-keeping ways of old, but rather to stand firm and return to the gospel of grace through faith alone. Christ has liberated us and set us free, and it is Christ's love that motivates and frees the Christianity community of faith, by the Spirit, to exercise self-emptying love for God, neighbor and one-another.
