Paul's final words to the churches of Galatia are in all caps: proclaiming that he never wants to boast about anything–-except the cross of Christ. For it is through the death and resurrection of Jesus that all human effort and pride to earn God's favor comes to an end. The cross has liberated us from the power of sin and death, allowing us to live freely, in open praise and filled with grace and hope.
