What is it we believe about prayer? Do we need proof it works? Can we demand a sign from God that he hears? King Ahaz is challenged to trust in his and Judah’s precarious situation to trust God’s promise of His presence. When we pray we practice not to worry about getting what we want or expect from God, but to be safe and secure in His presence.
