Sunday Worship Service - May 7, 2023

Sermon Introduction: Matthew 10:1-15, has been summarized by some as "Jesus' Rules for Travelers." But the wisdom of Jesus in this passage is far more than a list of travel mistakes to avoid. Instead, it features Jesus sharing with the Twelve his authority and power to go into the villages and cities of Israel to teach what Jesus taught and to do what Jesus did. Here, the gospel writer reveals that the kingdom of heaven unleashed by Jesus, is the kingdom of hospitality.
