For the next three weeks we move through a series of profound acts of Jesus that change our lives: Eastertide concludes, Christ ascends, the Holy Spirit is poured out upon the Church. What these remind us is how Jesus Christ is the center of our lives. That is, the point isn’t you or me, or how “good” you are; the point is Jesus. And the more we understand that and trust in him, the more we will see how these three acts transform our daily lives in life-giving ways.
