Sunday Worship Service - December 24, 2023

When the people of Judah return from exile and start rebuilding the temple they get discouraged when they compare their building project with the former, more glorious temple. The prophet Haggai has to tell them not to compare the present circumstances with former glories, but rather to focus on God’s promise of His presence with them today.  As we await the coming of the King we persevere in building for His kingdom, encouraged by the promise of God’s presence with us.
