Sunday Worship Service - August 6, 2023

The Bible has many stories of people on the run, and one of them is the story of Isaac's son Jacob. Along with his brother Esau, who he deceived and cheated, he is on the run from God who meets him in the wilderness. Instead of an angry deity seeking to punish him, Jacob finds a gracious and loving Lord who seeks to transform him. Many of us today are on the run like Jacob, but if we stop, we can encounter God and be transformed by grace and love.
