Sunday Worship Service - January 11, 2026

At the beginning of his gospel, Matthew throws his cards right away on the table. He is presenting to us Jesus, the long-awaited Messiah, God’s very own Son. But John the Baptist is confused. Why would the One who is more powerful than he and whose sandals he is not worthy to carry come to him to be baptized?
