Sunday Worship Service - August 20, 2023

As God's chosen people, Israel was called to reflect His character. To be a light of hope to the nations of the world, and reveal His heart of compassion. Sadly, there were some nations that they wished to leave in darkness, and one of them was the Canaanites who had fought with them for centuries. In his Gospel Matthew tells of a Canaanite woman in great need, and how Jesus gets out of character to remind God's people of their calling.
