Are some people more worthy of salvation than others? It is easy to answer this question with an immediate ‘No, of course not!’ But the truth is that I often act as if this is the case, as if some are more worthy of salvation than others. Who deserves to be saved? This question comes up in our passage for this morning. There is one man, a Roman centurion, and a crowd, both with an opinion on that. And there is a Saviour who reveals His heart for the lost.
